Junior Varsity hockey vs. The Springfield Junior Thunderbirds
On the eve of Winter Carnival the JV hockey team welcomed the Springfield Thunderbirds Bantam Minor tier 1 team to the Alfond Arena. The game started in the Tbird's favor as they scored a beautiful goal on the first shift of the game. The Eagles quickly turned things around by scoring 2 goals in the next five minutes, the first by Mason V. '26, and the second by Cam H. '25. From this point on it was a back-and-forth affair characterized by strong play from the Eaglebrook defenseman, particularly Liam K. '26 and Zach D. '25, and opportunistic scoring with 2 more goals from Cam H. '25 and a hard-working goal from Brady C. '25. The game also included strong play from the Eaglebrook goalie Mike M. '27, with one save late in the game that everyone was talking about. In the end, the Eagles prevailed by a score of 6-4 in a fun and competitive match.
