Varsity Lacrosse Loses Two on the Road Despite Strong Defense
CANAAN, NH – May 11, 2024 – Varsity Lacrosse has played strong defense over its last two games against Cardigan and Westminster, but it has been overmatched on the scoring side.
On Saturday, the team traveled to Cardigan and led the Cougars 4-1 after the first quarter. Cardigan’s offense then roared to life, and raced to a final score of 15-6.
On Tuesday at Westminster, the Brookies fell again. Goalie Nick Watson ‘25 had an excellent game at the net, making several excellent saves against a strong Westminster attack.
With a 6-5 season record, Eaglebrook will face Cardigan again at home this Saturday.
