Varsity Basketball Rebounds from Cardigan Loss, Bests Suffield
SUFFIELD, Conn. – February 12, 2024 – Varsity Basketball made the trek south to Suffield, CT, looking to get back on a winning streak after a disappointing weekend loss at Cardigan.
While the Eagles missed a few early opportunities to build a commanding advantage, they quickly took control of the game against the Tigers and opened a 15-point lead. Suffield fought hard to close the gap to 10 at the half.
Eaglebrook continued to control the pace of play in the second half, going on a 13-0 scoring spree after intermission and leading by as much as 27 heading into the closing minutes. On an afternoon where every Eagle scored, Eaglebrook coasted home with a convincing 70-51 victory.
Next up will be a road contest against Longmeadow High School’s JV on Wednesday.
