Thirds Basketball Bounces Back against Smith Academy
HATFIELD, Mass. – February 13, 2024 – Thirds Basketball recovered from a disappointing loss yesterday to the Academy at Charlemont with a convincing 36-22 road victory against the Smith Academy Falcons. The win helped the team improve to 5-3 for the season.
Playing without three of its starters, the Eagles relied on a strong showing from Ryan K. '26 whose selfless hustle on both ends of the floor on a 12-point effort provided the necessary boost to deliver the "W."
Also playing his best basketball of the season was Daniel P. '26 who poured in seven.
Next up for the Eagles will be a tough home match against Williston Northampton School on Wednesday. Tip-off is scheduled for 3:00.
