JV Baseball Falls 10-2 against Pope Francis Prep, But Flashes Speed on the Basepaths

DEERFIELD, Mass. – April 27, 2024 – On Saturday at Memorial Field, Eaglebrook JV Baseball faced a tough opponent in Pope Francis Prep, falling 10-2 to their slugging visitors from Springfield.

Highlights of the game for the home team included a strong relief performance by Cam H. '25. Coming in with Eaglebrook down by 5, Cam allowed five runs over six innings while striking out 10.

Jackson S. '25, Colin G. '26, Colt L. '25, and Zach D. '25 each collected one hit for Eaglebrook. Cam R. '25 led Eaglebrook with 3 walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, amassing 6 walks in the game. 

 

Jake T. '26, Colt, & Cam R. '25 each stole multiple bases helping Eaglebrook collect 13 stolen bases in total on the day.
